Research staff recognized for ‘propelling’ discovery
Summary: Vanderbilt University School of Medicine recently held a special event to thank the people who work hard behind the scenes in their science labs. On April 24, three amazing staff members won awards for helping make huge medical discoveries.
Brandee Brown won an award for her work with big teams studying the head and neck. Mikiyas Daniel won for basic cell research, and Beverly Woodward won for her work with infectious diseases.
