Should You Try a Juice Cleanse for Weight Loss?
Summary: Juice cleanses are not a good way to lose weight. When you only drink juice, you miss out on important things like protein and fiber. The weight you lose at first is just water, not fat. If you keep doing it, your body starts eating its own muscle for energy. Also, fruit juice has a lot of sugar. Because juicing removes the fiber, that sugar goes into your blood too fast and makes you crash. It is much healthier to eat whole fruits and vegetables.
