Simultaneous detection and differentiation of common foodborne pathogens using tri-metallic magnetic microspheres as an aluminium foil based SERS substrate.

Summary: Bad germs in our food and water can make us very sick. To keep people safe, scientists need fast ways to find these germs before we eat them. In this study, researchers created tiny, special metal beads that act like magnets. When placed on simple aluminum foil, these beads work with a special light tool (called SERS) to quickly spot and identify dangerous food germs all at once. This new tool is a fast and powerful way to improve food safety!
