Sister Act of Love: A Kidney Donation Story

Summary: Angelica was in her 20s, starting her dream job as a kindergarten teacher, and planning her wedding. Suddenly, she got very sick. An autoimmune disease she had as a teen, called ANCA vasculitis, flared up and caused her kidneys to fail. She needed a transplant and didn't want to be on dialysis for her big wedding day.

Luckily, she didn't have to look far for a hero. Her younger sister, Miranda, got tested and was a perfect 6-out-of-6 match! Miranda happily donated one of her kidneys to save her sister. The surgery was a huge success. Now, Angelica is healthy again and planning her wedding for 2027, with her life-saving sister right by her side as the maid of honor.
