The Camaro swap that duped the host of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives
Summary: Guy Fieri is famous for his food show, Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, and his cherry red Chevrolet Camaro. During the first two seasons, he drove a 1967 Camaro, but it kept breaking down at traffic lights! So, they built a powerful 1968 Camaro SS convertible with a 502-horsepower engine. It became so famous it even got its own trailer.
Later, Guy challenged his friend at VP Speed Shop to build an exact copy of the 1968 car. Guy thought he could tell them apart because the original had a tiny scratch on the windshield. When it was time to guess, 130 people voted for "Car A," and Guy agreed, thinking the scratch gave it away. But the builders tricked him—they had secretly swapped the windshields between the two cars! Guy got totally pranked on his own show.
