They compared a "Low-Glycemic Index" (Low-GI) meal—foods that digest slowly—against a High-GI meal. The results were encouraging: the Low-GI diet helped keep blood pressure significantly more stable and prevented spikes in blood sugar compared to the High-GI diet. Simply swapping breakfast foods might be an effective, drug-free way to manage this condition.
