The effect of a new in-hospital trauma care model on the outcomes of severely injured trauma patients in the emergency department: a retrospective observational study in China.
Summary: When people get badly hurt, getting fast and good care at the hospital can save their lives. Doctors in China tested a new way to treat these serious injuries in the emergency room. They looked at 366 patients to see if the new way was better than the old way. The results were great! The new method helped doctors do important things much faster, like giving blood, taking X-rays, and making a treatment plan. Because of this speed, more patients survived, and fewer had bad problems after their injuries. This new way of caring for trauma patients is a big success and saves lives.
