These photos capture the secret lives of New York City’s wildlife
Summary: When you think of New York City animals, you probably picture pigeons and rats. But the city is actually home to amazing wildlife! Photographers Jacqueline Emery and David Lei spend their nights taking pictures of Central Park's hidden creatures. They became famous for their photos of Flaco, the beloved owl who escaped from the zoo. Now, they are tracking Romeo and Juliet, the first coyote couple to live in Manhattan. The photographers want to keep these beautiful animals safe. They are asking New Yorkers to give the coyotes space, keep dogs on leashes, and urging the city to stop using rat poison, which can be deadly to the wildlife.
