This Designer Is Turning Assistive Devices Like Compression Gloves, Ostomy Bags Into Stylish Accessories

Summary: Designer Destiny Pinto was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) while in college. She had to wear compression gloves for her joint pain, but she hated how medical and boring they looked. So, she started decorating them! This led her to create her own brand, By Destiny Pinto. She turns assistive devices, like ostomy bags and wheelchair bags, into beautiful fashion accessories.

Her goal is to help people with chronic illnesses and invisible disabilities feel stylish and proud. She says there is no "right way" to look when you are sick, and you can still love fashion even during a flare-up.
