Time trends in cluster profiles of psychosomatic problems, self-rated poor health, and low life satisfaction from 2002 to 2022 among adolescents in five Nordic countries.

Summary: Over the last 20 years, researchers looked at the health of 15-year-olds in five Nordic countries. They studied over 48,000 teens to see how they felt about their health, their happiness, and if they had physical signs of stress, like stomach aches or headaches. They found that boys generally reported better health than girls. For girls, physical signs of stress went up a lot. Overall, teens aren't saying their lives are worse, but their bodies are reacting much more to everyday stress.
