Toward Best Practice Guidelines and Curricula for Virtual Care (Telehealth) in a Cancer Center: Protocol for a Multimethod Study.

Summary: Telehealth—or virtual care—has been around for a long time, but doctors and nurses don't always get the training they need to use it safely. This study looks at how to fix that gap, especially for nurses working in cancer care. Researchers will look at past studies, talk to 20 health workers, survey 200 more, and hold workshops to figure out exactly what skills are needed. Then, they will create new training guides and test them out. The goal is to make sure all nurses are ready to give great, safe care over the phone or computer.
