Translation and cross-cultural adaptation of the Brazilian version of the Boston Residue and Clearance Scale (BR-BRACS).

Summary: Imagine you have trouble swallowing, and doctors need a special test to see what's happening in your throat. They use a tool called the Boston Residue and Clearance Scale to measure any leftover food or liquid. But what if the doctors speak Portuguese? This study carefully translated this important tool into Brazilian Portuguese. They made sure the words meant the exact same thing in both languages. They also picked 50 pictures from swallowing tests and had three experts agree on what they showed. The result? A perfectly translated tool that Brazilian doctors can now use to help patients swallow safely!
