Vanderbilt Health Pets of the Day: Buffy and Weezy

Summary: Vanderbilt Health has named two new Pets of the Day: Buffy and Weezy! Buffy is a sweet dog who loves hanging out with kids. She was shared by Deede Wang from the Quality, Safety and Risk Prevention team. Weezy is an older pug from Nashville Pug Rescue who is known as the "sweetest dog ever." She was shared by Dede Long from Finance. These pets were picked from the Voice Pet Photo Contest and featured in the MyVUMC News newsletter on April 7, 2026.
