Who Is Le Bail In The Ready Or Not Movies? The Demon Explained

Summary: In the horror movies Ready or Not and its sequel, the terrifying Mr. Le Bail is the dark secret behind the extreme wealth of the Le Domas family. He is actually a powerful demon! Years ago, the family made a deal with him: he gives them endless money and power, and in return, they must play deadly games whenever someone new joins the family. If they break the rules, they face an explosive curse.

We later learn that Le Bail's evil influence controls the richest families in the entire world. His name is a clever anagram for "Belial," an ancient word for the Devil. While the greedy elite are happy to trade their souls and morals for power, the movie's hero, Grace, bravely rejects his evil offer. Fun fact: the movie's producer, James Vanderbilt, actually plays Le Bail in a super quick cameo at the end of the first film!
