Wiz Khalifa Wanted by Romanian Police After 9-Month Prison Sentence on Drug Charges

Summary: Wiz Khalifa has an official arrest warrant in Romania. During a July 2024 festival performance of his hit song "Young, Wild & Free," police caught the rapper smoking marijuana on stage. They reported finding over 18 grams of the drug on him.

At first, Wiz was only given an $830 fine. He even apologized online, joking that he wouldn't bring a "big ass joint" next time. However, Romanian prosecutors pushed for a harsher punishment, and a judge sentenced him to nine months in prison. Wiz has not turned himself in to serve the time and is currently traveling across North America on tour.
